Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026

This policy explains what information Power Plug Guide (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

You can use the whole site without creating an account, and we never ask for your name, email address or any other personal details. The country search and filters run entirely in your browser; what you type is not sent to us or stored.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested — for example your IP address, browser type, the page you visited and the time of the request. These server logs are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are deleted on a regular schedule.

Advertising and cookies

The site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the consent message. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.

Other third-party services

Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. See the Google Privacy Policy for details. Country flags and all other images are served from our own server.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, or to object to how it is used. Because we do not keep personal data beyond short-lived server logs, most requests concern advertising data held by Google, which you can manage through the links above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
